Styrofoam Barrier Trays for Modified Atmosphere Packaging.

The barrier trays are offered with and without integrated absorbent bottoms. The foam barrier packaging is obtained from EVOH layer sandwiched between expanded polystyrene (XPS, EPS) layers, and PE layer to ease the process of sealing. They are made from a multilayered gastight barrier rigid film compliant with EU norms for food packaging. The given range of the foam trays guarantees longer shelf life of foods on account of the fact that modified atmosphere gas is successfully sealed inside the package. Our barrier packaging applied together with our top sealable film will preserve the freshness of your products for longer periods. The barrier trays are also offered with absorbent bottoms (with integrated juice absorbent pads).

What’s packed foamed barrier trays?

The packaging is mostly applied as fresh meat and fish packaging (meat trays). It is created to live up to the needs of people who use tray sealers and other tray sealing machines. In general, it is applied for food products requiring gas barrier protection which is provided not only together with the trays but with top films offered by our company too.
