On account of applied polymers the packaging has superb barrier qualities against any losses of aromas. Other polymers create barrier properties against water and liquid vapour. Shrink bags made of shrink tubes can reach a shelf life as long as 12 weeks. Good shrinkage and shrinking time (from 3 to 4 seconds in water environment at the temperature approx. 90 – 95 C degrees) and resistance to UV radiation are another features of the sealable sleeves.
What’s packed in shrink sealable sleeves?
Shrink sleeves are mostly used to make shrink bags. Pouches made of the sleeve fulfil the function of a vacuum packaging system for products like: sausages, processed meat, sliced meat, hams, cheese, poultry products etc.Overall, food packaging, meat packaging specifically is the target application of sealable sleeves
